About me Nicola H.

I have always been an animal lover since a child, dogs being my favourite. The dogs featured in photos on my profile are previous dogs I have pet-sitted for through Holidog (with owners permission to upload). I'm at home most of the day since I'm a student, and also live with a family of 4 adults, so if you're someone who is worried about their dog being left alone then my home is the right place for you :-) I'm happy to walk all breeds, big or small, pully or gentle, nervous or not, and have lots of experience in doing so. As not only have I done pet-sitting for 3/4 years, but I also used to volunteer for the RSPCA and worked amongst rescue dogs, which allowed me the chance to play and walk with all different kinds of breeds and personalities! Nicola treated my dog Tesla as part of her own family during the Christmas holidays. She even had a present for him! I felt at ease at all times and in constant communication. She provided updates and pictures daily and above all Tesla seems really well looked after a and extremely happy. I would give her 10 stars.... but there is a max of 5... so that will have to do! Nicola looked after my boxer Riley for 2 weeks. Asked lots of questions before and kept me up to date via text whilst I as away. Riley was treated like a member of the family. Nicola clearly enjoyed looking after him and Riley was happy and settled there. I have already booked Riley in for my next holiday.I would not hesitate to recommend Nicola as a pet sitter. Jay-Jay clearly had a great time with Nicola and has come home relaxed and happy. We never like to leave Jay-Jay in a kennel environment as he was a rescue and finds it very stressful. He is also nervous of other dogs and its hard to find dog sitters who are fully appreciative of his issues. Nicola has been great, we had a meet before where we discussed issues etc and took him for a walk. She is so understanding of our dogs needs and it is a real relief to be able to confidently leave Jay-Jay with someone else knowing he's getting so well looked after. See less

I would highly recommend nicola. Our dog minx is very nervous as she is a rescue dog so we don't like leaving her but she settled in straight away with nicola. We got regular updates from her while we were away to let us know that minx was ok. We wouldn't hesitate to use her again to look after minx as we would know she would be in good hands.
